Kelly
is a mother of three from Australia, who has been engaged
in promoting public awareness of UFO activity since 1994.
Until recently, she was the Associate Editor of Exposure
Magazine, a bi-monthly exposé publication
that addresses contemporary social issues, ranging from
UFOs to politics.
Her
book Encounter, published
by Harper Collins in 1996, details Kelly's own personal
involvement in Australia's only independently witnessed
UFO encounter. The encounter occurred during August 1993.
With multiple eye-witnesses and the collective data of
a year-long scientific investigation, this encounter has
proved to be a catalyst to opening up the UFO subject
for public debate in Australia.
Kelly
has spoken at numerous national
and international conferences, where along
with her own personal account of the experience, she also
presents the scientific findings of the field investigation,
and delivers vivid photographs of bodily marks and ground
traces. Her hope is that in presenting the overwhelming
physical evidence this encounter has to offer, academia
will have to concede that there is more to the UFO phenomena
than often appears, and that it is worthy of far more
serious consideration than it currently receives.
