Hopkins believes that the Universe must be teeming with life in all manor of shape and form. He says: "By using fundamental logic, we can safely and mathematically assume that there must be millions of forms of civilizations - civilized life and that some of these may be highly advanced. I think it's a high probability, not just a possibility. Otherwise, what the hell is it all about, unless the whole thing is an illusion."
