Movie actor Cliff Robertson sighted a UFO in July 1963, while living in a house that overlooks the ocean in Pacifica Park, California. Robertson said: "It was a crystal clear day, around 3:00 p.m., with not a cloud visible in the sky. I was standing out on an observation deck that overlooks the sea, watching the gulls fly by, and taking a bit of fresh air. Suddenly, my eyes were diverted toward an object high in the sky. Whatever it was, was traveling from south to north and sparkling like a diamond, as it reflected the rays of the mid afternoon." Robertson said: "I picked up a pair of binoculars and by no means was I prepared for what I saw through the binoculars. There, in front of me, was a weird alien contraption, a cylindrical-shaped craft made of highly polished metal. The UFO hovered motionless for more than 10 minutes before it finally shot straight up and disappeared from sight. It just hovered out there, high up over the water, then boom! - all of a sudden, it was gone."
