Jeffrey W. Sainio

Born in 1954 in Michigan, Jeff Sainio graduated Magna Cum Laude from Northern Michigan University with a B.S. in Math-Computer Science in 1979. He switched his interest from the broadcast engineering field to computerized process control where more technical employment opportunities prevailed. Jeff is a member of the elite MENSA organization.

Mr. Sainio is manager of Imaging R&D at Quad/Tech Division of Quad/Graphics, known as one of the top-ten in the publication The 100 Best Companies to Work for in America. He has worked in the field of printing press color register controls for over ten years, and holds three patents in the field.

His interest in UFOs was piqued during the 1965 flap when two disks were sighted by respected policemen in his hometown in northern Michigan. Jeff enjoys wildlife photography, volleyball, and bowling during his spare time. Currently, he has been performing computer enhancement of UFO photographs and videotapes for the Mutual UFO Network and Dr. Bruce S. Maccabee. Mr. Sainio joined MUFON in February 1991 and now serves in the capacity of State Director for Wisconsin and a Research Specialist in Photo Analysis.
