Born
in 1954 in Michigan, Jeff Sainio graduated
Magna Cum Laude from Northern Michigan University with
a B.S. in Math-Computer Science in 1979. He
switched his interest from the broadcast engineering field
to computerized process control where more technical employment
opportunities prevailed. Jeff is a member of the elite
MENSA
organization.
Mr.
Sainio is manager of Imaging
R&D at Quad/Tech Division of Quad/Graphics,
known as one of the top-ten in the publication The
100 Best Companies to Work for in America.
He has worked in the field of printing press color register
controls for over ten years, and holds three patents in
the field.
His
interest in UFOs was piqued during the 1965 flap when
two disks were sighted by respected policemen in his hometown
in northern Michigan.
Jeff enjoys wildlife photography, volleyball, and bowling
during his spare time. Currently, he has been performing
computer enhancement of UFO photographs and videotapes
for the Mutual
UFO Network and Dr.
Bruce S. Maccabee. Mr. Sainio joined MUFON
in February 1991 and now serves in the capacity of State
Director for Wisconsin and a
Research Specialist in Photo Analysis.
