Tom
Henry is a former bush pilot and Justice of the Peace.
Since the 1950s, he has flown small planes, including
a Cessna 172 and a Cessna 180. For years, he'd fly American
hunters up to the lodges where they'd hunt for bear and
wolves.
During
one of his supply runs, he and a fellow pilot by the name
of Russ McKay were about to come in for a landing on runway
25 at the Thunder bay airport when they saw a large blimp-shaped
object hovering in front of them, blocking their flightpath
to the landing strip. The Air Traffic controller said
they had momentarily picked up a radar contact near their
vicinity, but it soon disappeared.
