UFO
sightings
Since
February, there have been three reported sightings of
UFOs in the Blind River area. While driving from Elliot
Lake to her home in Blind River, one witness spotted a
large ball-shaped light in the night sky which suddenly
blinked out. The sighting took place Feb. 22, and lasted
a few seconds.
Then,
on Friday, Feb. 26, at around midnight, a red light was
seen hovering above some railroad tracks in Blind River
by three witnesses in two separate vehicles.
One
of the witnesses, a woman, reported the following. The
driver of one car pulled over the side of the road so
he could get a good look. He was about 30 - 40 feet away
from it as it hovered there. Suddenly, the light started
to move, and the driver sped away. As the second car drove
up, the woman and another person spotted the light as
it went into the woods and disappeared.
And
more recently, on Saturday, March 13 at around 2 am, the
same woman woke up to go to the bathroom, and heard a
low hum, similar to an electrical sound. She put on her
coat and boots and went out to investigate. As she looked
up, she saw a large cigar-shaped object as it flew over
her house. It consisted of a large cylindrical light in
the front, followed by a short light in the back, like
an horizontal exclamation mark.
She
observed it for about 10 to 15 seconds, then ran into
the house to get her binoculars. The witness said that
the object was lower than a jet, but as high as a small
plane. The sighting lasted approximately five minutes.
I
happened to discuss these sightings with her and asked
her out of curiosity where the Eldorado Nuclear Plant
was located, and she replied that it was about 10-15 minutes
away. Nuclear plants are practically synonymous with sightings
of these mysterious objects.
