Date:
2003
Location: Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria
A
clear, close-range video of a saucer-shaped object spinning
near a building in Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria sometime in 2003.
According to B. J. Booth, who eventually acquired and
made public the video, it was taken by a woman, who made
it available to local authorities in Bulgaria, who confiscated
it from her. Luckily, she had made a copy of it and placed
it in the care of a friend.

A still shot taken from the Bulgaria video.

B.
J. Booth of UFO Casebook, who acquired and made public
the video, provided the following information:
"The
video from Bulgaria that you mention is from a longer
clip; however, it is, at this time, the only one I have.
This is one of those things that someone I know and trust
real well pirated from a friend of theirs whom they know
and trust real well. Supposedly, and this is all off the
record, the video was taken by a woman, who made it available
to local authorities in Bulgaria, who confiscated it from
her. Luckily, she had made a copy of it and placed it
in the care of a friend. The film was somewhat longer,
originally, but I was told that the remainder of the film
only showed the object move farther away and eventually
disappear."
"My
friend assures me that the film is real, and not a hoax.
I don't know if you know the way things are in Bulgaria,
but one must really be careful there about crossing the
authorities, or getting caught bringing film through customs
at airports, borders, etc. If you do a search for anything
UFO/Bulgaria on the net, you just won't find much if anything."
"I
held on to this film for quite some time before putting
it on the net, because my friend's contact was still in
Bulgaria at the time. He has left that country now, and
I was confident that he was free from any type of trouble
about the film."
